About NOVA

Mila Reeves is a 25 year-old solopreneur from Harlem, NY. Growing up, Mila struggled with skin problems including eczema and acne (heavily the face and back). Acquaintances, peers, and even significant others bullied her for pimples, zits, dark marks, and dry skin, calling her names such as "Pizza Face" or "Crunch Bar." For years, Mila’s self esteem fell lower and lower, until it almost completely disappeared. After visiting countless doctors and dermatologists who prescribed nothing that would cure her, Mila decided to change my her own destiny. 
In 2018, she began working on formulas for oils, moisturizers, and masks to improve not only her skin, but her confidence. The results were amazing! So amazing that she decided it was her homage to share her creation with the world. Thus, in August 2020, NOVA Cosmetics was born, raised, and sheltered with love.
